This certification attests to an individual’s understanding of mobile application testing and of automating native, hybrid, and mobile web apps on Android, iOS, and Windows using the Appium® tool. It builds the practical knowledge needed to run a mobile automation project end to end — from Appium®’s architecture and the choice between emulator, simulator, and real device, through installation and writing test procedures on both Appium 1.x and Appium 2.0. It grounds the ability to automate with any supported programming language and test framework, with full interface access, using concrete Java-based reference examples.
